TIPS FOR USING OUR SEPTEMBER CONTENT CALENDAR IDEAS
Choose the “days” or celebrations that your audience will relate to. Put yourself into the shoes of your ideal customer. What are they interested in, outside of your business and what you normally talk about? Do they love reading? Do they have pets? Do they love conserving nature? Just because they followed you for your business-related content, doesn’t mean they don’t want to talk about animals or art or alcohol. Get creative by using our weird and unusual holidays. Remember, posting about something like Chocolate Milkshake Day can make you more human and relatable? Everyone likes Chocolate Milkshake, right?
Remember this is not an exhaustive list. We can’t possibly list every single day of celebration for September. But it’s a good list to get you started. Feel free to search for other types of celebration days to add to this list.
Check the day before posting. We have double-checked every entry, but we’d suggest that you check the day in your region or country. Some of these days don’t change every year, and others do. For example, some of the days fall on the 3rd Sunday of the Month etc. We may have missed something. We recommend that you do a quick check yourself before posting. If we’ve made an error, please let us know! And that includes hashtags.
Not all countries are covered. Please note that Easil is based in Australia, but the holidays in this post are from around the world. Many of them are North American Holidays with some from Australia, some international holidays. This post would go on forever if we included every country. But if you use the list as a starting point, you’ll be fired up with ideas.
Hint, Hint – come back to Easil to create images for the content you decide to post. There are images and templates in this post to get you started.
Our content calendar also includes free video templates. Note that you’ll need a Plus account (or free Plus trial) to download as MP4 files, or you can simply use these as static JPG downloads on the free plan!
ADDING IMAGES TO YOUR SEPTEMBER SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS
You can use our September content calendar in many different ways. Start with one of our Easil templates to edit and create your design. Or, you can use your own photos or images to create something custom. How you choose to illustrate the day is only limited by your creativity.
HOT TIP: Why not post a quote that relates to the day in question? For example, the 28th September provides a perfect opportunity for this, with Confucius Day.

In September 1752, we lost 11 days. Not sure where they went. Not really. Rumour has it, that some people believed that it would mean they would live shorter lives. You could share your appreciation for the calendar, or those lost 11 days!
